When connecting long lengths of DMX (Digital Multiplex) cable between devices, or for projects where there are a lot of units to link together you will need to boost the DMX signal.
This compact DMX amplifier from our Mi-Boxer range of products can be inserted into the DMX line. This will effectively boost the DMX signal so that it will carry over a longer distance. This will also enable more products that work off the DMX protocol to be controlled.
The unit is rated IP66, allowing it to be used for projects with both indoor and outdoor light fixtures.
The unit is supplied with integrated special 5-pin connectors that match the connectors supplied on the products it is connected to.
Note: When long runs of DMX cable are required over a larger installation, it is advisable to attach a DMX terminator plug on the DMX output side of the last unit in the chain. Doing this will help to stop bounce back and other spurious flickering on the lighting products.
If a DMX terminator plug is unavailable, then a 120 Ohm, 0.5W resistor can be connected between the + & - terminals on the last unit.

LED Strip Cabinet carries a minimum 2-year limited warranty on all LED products for manufacturing defects or product failures. Select products may carry more than a 2-year warranty, which will be documented on the product page. If you experience an issue with a product, a technician from our support team may be able to diagnose the issue. Technical support is available by phone, chat and email. The warranty is valid and only applies when LED Strip Cabinet products are properly used for their intended applications.

LED Strip Cabinet, Inc. warrants that products carrying a lifetime warranty will be free from defects in the material and workmanship for the lifetime of the product. If an LED or other internal component fails, return the product to LED Strip Cabinet, Inc. for inspection. If, after inspection, LED Strip Cabinet verifies that the defect was not caused by negligence, abuse, unauthorized repair or disassembly, we will replace the product with the same product. In the case the exact product is no longer available, a product of equal value may be substituted. Warranties are non-transferable. Warranty terms and policies are subject to change without notice.

Q: What is the product warranty?
We’re so happy with the quality of our product, we offer a 5-year warranty on all of our LED strips to all of our clients. The warranty on power supplies ranges from 2 to 7 years which is model dependent.
Q: What is the lifespan of your strip lights?
Our lights have been rigorously tested and have an expected lifespan of 50,000 hours before dropping to 70% luminosity. This means that if you were to use your lights 12 hours a day, every day, the lights would be expected to last longer than 10 years. Even after that time has elapsed, the lights will maintain a brightness of 70%. Higher-output strips require a heat sink to reach the expected lifespan and beyond.
Q: What is color temperature?
The color of light can be quantified by referring to its color temperature. White light is measured in Kelvins (K). Most white lights fall in a spectrum between 1800K and 6200K. When getting close to 3000K, the light is noticeably warmer. On the other end of the spectrum, the lights have a blue-ish tint and cooler tone when nearing 6500K.
